Sebring is a lake town best known for a racetrack, but from December onward its pickleball courts are the busiest thing in Highlands County. Winter residents arrive, the morning rotation goes to full courts, and it stays that way until spring.

December – March
December through March the courts run deep and the level rises with them. Expect organized level play and a rack system that moves quickly.
Summer thins out considerably, which is a gift if you like open courts. Early mornings only — inland Highlands County gets hot and stays hot.
Lake Jackson is a few minutes away and the downtown circle is worth a stop. It is a genuinely pleasant place to spend a morning off the court.
