If you live in one of the big Estero developments, you likely have excellent courts and organized play within your own gates. Visitors and non-residents need to work a little harder — public inventory is thinner than the total court count suggests.
Where outsiders can play
County parks in the surrounding Lee County system are the reliable option, along with a handful of commercial and club facilities. Fort Myers and Bonita Springs are both short drives if Estero's public courts are full.
Playing conditions
Newer courts mean better drainage, which matters in a region where an afternoon downpour can end play elsewhere for an hour. Estero courts tend to be back in service faster after rain.
