Terrible experience, nobody was there when we got there, we had to wait about 30 minutes to get for someone to help us. There was a horrible cigarette smell in the place. The courts were in terrible shape (check pictures) the people working there didn’t even wait for you to finish the point to pass behind you and in an indoor place, they gave us outdoor balls. At least the restroom was clean and in perfect shape.

People there are really nice however, the cigarette smell from a cigar bar next to it leaks into the pickleball area and is awful. The lights are really bad . The courts need some attention too. Hard to bring kids around cigarette smell.

I really wanted to like playing at The Yards, but there are ongoing issues that haven’t been addressed. The biggest problem is the cigar smoke from the neighboring lounge, which seeps into the courts and leaves you smelling like smoke every time. A large group of us (around 70 players) raised this concern and never received any acknowledgment. Other issues: • Parking is a nightmare, especially when events are happening in their stage area—they prioritize those events and completely forget about pickleball players • Lighting is poor due to heavy glare, and the all-black walls and courts make visibility even worse • Courts are chipping and need maintenance • Bathrooms are not maintained and often don’t even have soap The only consistently positive part of this place is Hector from P3, who is great. There’s a lot of potential, but until management addresses these problems, many players are choosing other facilities.

Four because I want to support pickleball places, but cigarette smell is soooooo bad. Especially at the back room.. Can’t even think of going there again… 😷 Lots of courts, lights seems good!

MY FELLOW AMERICANS, HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING WELL. TODAY I WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT “THE YARDS” not the pickle ball place but next door, where they have lots of food trucks in the isle with tables as seen below. NOW THE SPECIAL PLACE IS BOLA LOCA FOOD TRUCK. WITH A GREAT STYLE OF CUBAN CUISINE. I HAD THE CHURASCO STEAK WITH FRIES AND TOSTONES. MY FRIENDS IT WAS DELICIOUS. PLEASE IF YOU EVER COME TO THE GREAT CITY OF HIALEAH, PLEASE PASS BY “THE YARDS” next to “The Yards Pickle Ball Courts” IT HAS A GREAT ATMOSPHERE AND GREAT FOOD TRUCKS TO PICK FROM. A SPECIAL THANKS TO CLAUDIA MY SERVER WHO WAS AMAZING AND KENNY THE OWNER. GREAT PEOPLE AND A GREAT PLACE AT THE AMELIA EARHART DISTRICT IN AGAIN THE GREAT CITY OF HIALEAH.
