I was in town for business and looking for a 3.25+ level Pickleball group to play with. I came across Tarpon Tennis Club on Google and saw all the positive reviews, so I decided to check it out—and I'm glad I did! Online check-in was super easy using the app linked on their website. I joined a 3.25+ night that started at 6pm, and I liked that you could see who was registered to play ahead of time. The club was about a 30-minute drive from Oldsmar, but it was an easy trip. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the owner, Abby, who gave me a quick rundown of the club’s features. She was absolutely wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and even joined in to play with our group. The facility had permanent nets, fencing around the courts (so you’re not chasing balls everywhere), and game-ready balls already set out. There weren’t too many people playing, so I got in several solid games. Everyone I played with was at least a 3.25 level, and the energy was great. Definitely got a good workout in and enjoyed the company. If you're in the Tampa area and looking to get in a few good games, I highly recommend stopping by. Great spot to play with a solid community!

Love the red clay courts. Clinics are great. They also offer reasonably prices lessons. You don't have to be a member.

I just started playing tennis (very late in life haha) last fall and Ben (my coach) couldn’t be more patient with me! I was apprehensive about starting a new hobby but his professionalism and effective tips have really helped me in the last 6 months. I also really like that I can take private lessons to build the basics and then play in group clinics to apply my new skills in a group and live-play scenarios. Great club! Highly recommend!

Great club, Josh, Ben and Abby all class acts. Pretty cool getting lessons and tips from a former ATP player (Ben). Red clay courts, best courts in Tampa area hands down. Awesome place to be a member.

It's a shame that a nice guy like Don is so incompetent running a event such as a pickleball evening that it was only fun for the best players. They're have been issues Everytime I have attended but the last time takes the cake. He over booked by at least 6 people. So instead of playing fair he lets the best players team up holdings the courts for the night while the rest of us team up by putting our paddle on the fence and play with beginners. Although I'm a a medium player I did not expect to wait 40 minutes to play. And then have to play the best players one again with a beginner as a partner. It may sound like sour grapes but believe me after a lifetime of playing sport this was ther most unfair evening ever. Crescent oaks would be wise to hire someone more in touch. I will advise anyone looking for a fair and enjoyable evening to look elsewhere. Too bad. I have never written a review for anything before.
