I took the three-week fundamentals class with Luke and it was excellent. He was super helpful in teaching me the rules of scoring, improving my strategy at the kitchen line, and perfecting my serve. Would highly recommend! A note on the location: it's warehouse "H" at the Oldsmar flea market. Drive all the way to the back left and you'll see the vinyl banner "Tampa Bay Pickleball".

Staff was great and well organized. Played tournament here but wish courts were separated to avoid interference from games beside you. 6 courts total are divided by fence 2 courts per row.

My wife was in town for a class and I was looking for somewhere to play. This place was top notch. I signed up for an open play which I thought was very reasonably priced for a 3 hour session. The facility was nice and the 2 guys working were helpful about giving me a rundown of how to work in to games. Everyone I played with was super friendly. I loved how easy it was to schedule online. They have plenty of sessions each day and you can filter it by skill level. That was the big draw for me as I was taking an uber to wherever I was going and it was nice to know I wouldn't be showing up to somewhere where there would be no one to play with. Great experience overall.

I had a great experience with the Mastering Fundamentals class. Im 62 years old, very active, and have been playing pickleball without formal training for about 6 months. My game was not improving and felt that I was repeating bad habits with each game. Everyone has advice on how to serve or how to dink but I wanted a true professional to guide me. Plus, I think good form prevents injuries and that is important to me. The Mastering Fundamentals group class in Oldsmar/Tampa offered 3 sessions for a very reasonable rate. My coach, Luke, was fabulous. He obviously is very skilled but also very perceptive in assessing what I was doing wrong and where I needed to improve. His drills catered to those in the class to help us improve our form and therefore improve our game. Luke also shared the “why’s” of certain pickleball strategies, helping me understand why we move around the court during play and why we choose certain shots to win the point. I loved that he helped me improve my footwork because that is just as important as how you hit the ball. Since attending these classes, my pickleball game has improved dramatically. Thank you Luke and Tampa Bay Pickleball!
