Salvadore Park (William H. Kerdyk Jr. Park) is hands down one of the best parks in Coral Gables for families. The playground is big, well maintained, and has so many different areas for kids of all ages. There are climbing structures, swings, slides, and even a small zip-line that the kids absolutely love. It keeps them entertained for a long time without getting bored. One of the best parts is the shade. There are tons of mature trees and covered areas, which makes a huge difference — especially in the Miami heat. Parents can actually sit comfortably and watch their kids without feeling like they’re melting. There’s also open green space that’s perfect for picnics, birthday parties, or just letting the kids run around freely. Parking is easy and free, which is always a plus. The park is clean, the atmosphere feels safe, and the crowd is usually very family-friendly. Right next door you also have the tennis center with clay courts, so it’s a great spot for both kids and adults. Whether you’re planning a playdate, a birthday party, or just need a reliable park to burn off some energy, this one is a winner. Definitely a go-to park in the area!

The best park in Coral Gables. lots of parking space Very nice looking and well-maintained park. Very diverse for different-aged kids. It also has plenty of entertaining attractions and even a small zip-line for the kids. For adults or young lovers of tennis, there is a tennis court.

Our next summer with kids adventure take us to Salvadore Park Tennis Center located in the center of Coral glades and surrounded by incredibly thick vegetation which makes the place stay cool and with a pleasant temperature to enjoy with the family. The place has tennis courts for anyone who likes this sport and a playground for the little ones and also why not for the adults who visit it if they want to share the experience of playing together with their children. You don't have to worry nothing about how you park the car because the park have a lots of parking spaces for everyone come, high recommend for family and kids spending time together.

I’ve been going to Salvadore park since my son started walking. I’m so happy that finally the park its being remodeled. If we loved it before we love it even more now. This park is great for kids because it has a lot of trees that provide great shade. Now with the new remodeling they added a new playground area and they replaced the old playground. So now the kids have more areas to play while still enjoying the freedom and nature that this park offers. They still are working on half of the park I think it will open soon.

This is such a great spot if you’re looking for a clean, easy place to take the kids. The playground is big, well-kept, and has plenty of shade, which makes a huge difference on hot days ( I mean, everyday lol) . There’s also free parking, which is a big plus, no meters, no hassle, just pull up and enjoy. The park has tennis courts, open green areas, and picnic tables if you want to hang out for a while. It’s in a quiet, safe neighborhood and never feels too crowded, even on weekends. If you’re around and need a good, stress-free park where the kids can have fun, Salvadore Park is definitely worth a visit.
