Alyssa Corcoran· 7 months agoThe Englewood Field Club is truly a gem. The racket sports scene is outstanding—top-notch tennis, pickleball, paddle, and squash with great courts, strong competition, and a welcoming vibe for all levels. The hockey rink is another huge plus, adding to the club’s incredible range of athletic offerings. What really sets EFC apart, though, is the community. The friendships you make here are genuine, and the atmosphere is warm, social, and fun. Whether you’re there to compete, stay active, or just spend time with amazing people, the Englewood Field Club feels like a second home.
Leslie Fink· 7 months agoMy family and I have been members of EFC for 17 years and it has enhanced our lives in so many ways! The club has a very approachable laid-back vibe and is wonderful for racquet sports lovers of all kinds. The tennis, paddle, pickleball and squash programs are all amazing, not to mention the hockey and figure skating programs, summer camp, and the swimming pool. There’s something for everyone! Definitely check it out and explore this hidden gem just a few miles from NYC!
Nicole Fischer· 7 months agoMy family have been members of Englewood Field Club since 2020 when we moved here from Canada. Moving during the pandemic was challenging but joining EFC was the reason we made it through!! At EFC we found a warm, welcoming, friendly, active community and friends that we will have for life. My whole family uses the club extensively because there is something for everyone! My husband and I play tennis and paddle and I am a member of the ladies tennis and paddle leagues, my kids love the EFC camp including after tennis and swim team, and my kids and husband all play hockey. In the summer we enjoy the pool and friday night family swim nights and in the winter we love open hockey and friday night family skating. It is really the best kept secret in Bergen County and I encourage anyone that wants their kids to disconnect from screens and enjoy playing outdoors to take a look.
Allison DiClemente· 7 months agoEnglewood Field Club is one of those rare places that feels timeless. I was a member here as a child and now, years later, I’ve rejoined as an adult with my own family, and it’s just as special as I remembered. It’s more than a club; it’s a true community. A place where friendships form naturally, where neighbors become friends, and where children play freely across ages the way we all wish they still could. It feels like the neighborhood you thought you were moving into..welcoming, social, and full of life. There’s something magical about coming back and doing the same sports and activities you loved as a kid, laughing and having fun without taking yourself too seriously. It’s a place that reminds you not to grow up too fast or at least not all the way and keep doing what you love. Englewood Field Club is about connection, joy, and shared experiences across generations (a lot of generations). I’m grateful to be back, and even more grateful to share it now with my family.
Lyndsley Capuano· 7 months agoWe’ve been members here for more than 12 years and I can say EFC has felt like a tight knit community and an old school neighborhood. The community is welcoming and we’ve built lasting friendships with so many wonderful people over the years. The staff always goes above and beyond, and there’s a genuine sense of camaraderie throughout the club. We truly appreciate everything this place has brought to our lives-highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxed vibe and chill people. The rackets pros are top notch too! Get your pickle, tennis, squash and my personal favorite, platform tennis, going on here with state and country club teams available to join. There is also a huge field where members kids can run amuck with an adjacent covered patio for parents to watch them play and enjoy the elements when appropriate. They have camps for kids, a swimming pool and an ice rink. It’s year round engagement and one of Bergen County’s best kept secrets.
