Jesus· a month agoOne of the best public parks in the whole Florida state, baseball park, pickleball courts, pools, soccer fields, etc. the only complaint is they close the gates and sometimes the bathrooms before the closing hours
Jessica Thrasher· a month agoIn a group chat that had someone suggest this park due to their planned park being under renovation. Weather seemed like it was not going to cooperate with severe thunderstorms Tuesday 6/2/26, but they rolled through relatively quickly and the suggester of park said clouds gone, she was rolling the chosen court dry (rollers and squeegees available which some parks do not have, so it is a great place to go after a cleared storm). Beautiful courts, but be warned that the barriers between courts let the ball through the slats. Lighting is great and on weekdays stay on until 10:45 (played until.lights out). Plenty of parking. One perk of this park is an ice machine and water bottle filler where the awnings are. Seems like people are nice there, but it was relatively empty due to the earlier rain so not sure how the culture is when packed.
Danette Mahabeer· 2 years agoI traveled in to visit my mom and simply Google and found this court as I wanted to play while I visited. We showed up and there were like 200 people and all courts packed. I liked however that they had open play and you can put your paddle in line to play with others instead of just a clique of friends playing against themselves all night. Courts are highly maintained and they also have a water drinking fountain. We had fun and when I visit again I'm definitely going back!
Brian Lutz (Backhand City)· 4 years agoGreat courts for pickleball with a lot of courts in Central Park in Plantation. They have a APP Tournament in the Spring and a charity event in the July if you are looking for competition this is a good spot. I was here when it started to rain. I hope to go back again soon with better weather.
