I walk my dog in this park every single day as it is right across the street from house. There is quite of bit of wild to watch while you are going on your walks. Many species of birds, otters and of course those cute little tree rats, squirrels.

Nice gated playgrounds, walking trail, tennis courts, and baseball fields. Also, there's a pool and water play area. This location offers a lot for the community. The recreation center itself has restrooms, a gym, a banquet hall and lots of classrooms. And, there is so much of nature to see! I've seen pelicans, ducks, and otters on this property. Overall, I love this place and will continue to visit regularly.

I COMMEND MANAGEMENT FOR REPAVING AND RESURFACING THE WALKING/RUNNING TRAILS AT LAKE VISTA. HOWEVER, THE TRAILS REQUIRE ADDITIONAL PAVING AND RESURFACING FOR PUBLIC USE. 1. PAVE & WIDEN THE TRAIL, & REMOVE GRASS OVERGROWTH. 2. SMOOTH RESURFACED PARTS OF THE TRAIL, i.e., DRUM ROLL RESURFACED AREAS OF THE TRAIL TO FILL IN POTHOLES & CRUSH ROCKS, STONES & SHELLS..

Amazing local park with something for everyone and all ages. A lake with gazebo, one-mile exercise trail, basketball courts, skate park, pool, workout equipment, plenty of covered picnic tables and a recently updated indoor recreation facility.

Lake Vista is a great refuge to study, work out, and take a quiet stroll of meditation. The highlight is worship on Sunday at New Philadelphia Christian Center. Pastor Bobby delivers authentically and brings reinforcement and revelation. Pastor Steven brings humor to truth and is intentional about reaching single men and women for Christ! Lake Vista is a get away for children and adults in different ways! Most importantly it serves as a bridge to the community through the spoken gospel hidden within.💖 Nurse Jolie, Unapologetically Me!💖✝️💖
