Ariel W.· a year agoThis is an inviting neighborhood park in the Sunset Ridge community, the largest neighborhood in Lake Worth. The neighborhood is bounded on the east side of I-95 to the west side of Dixie Highway and from the south side of the Palm Beach Canal to the north side of 10th Avenue North. Sunset Ridge Park is right in the middle. Park amenities include two picnic pavilions, five lighted tennis courts, basketball court, multi-purpose field, BBQ grills, playground equipment and swings, and restroom facilities. I enjoyed walking around the perimeter of the park for exercise. Sunset Ridge Park is also one of the most popular places to play pickleball in Lake Worth. The sport, which is a cross between table tennis, badminton, and tennis, was invented by three vacationers on Bainbridge Island, near Seattle, in 1965. There are now 36.5 million pickleball players in the U.S and it was named the fastest growing sport in the U.S. in 2024. At Sunset Ridge Park there are 6 outdoor hard courts. Portable nets are available and the courts are free. The portable nets are in place on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00am until 2:00pm. Bring your own net on other days or after 2:00pm on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
Michael Finnegan· 3 months agoTake my son here a lot. It's our local park and over the years I've noticed if something breaks there a city worker comes out and fixes it. The slide was cracked and I was worried my 2 year old would get cut. Within a month it was fixed. Lake worth does care.
Gissela Tafur· 9 months agoNice little park with 2 tennis courts, perfect for casual games with friends. The courts are well-kept, easy to access, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Great spot if you’re just looking to play for fun!
Bob M· a year agoCity of lakeworth just resurfaced the six pickleball courts at this park. There is plenty of parking and some parking spaces on the street next to courts.

Lake Worth Beach has a strong beginner-to-intermediate pickleball scene, and Sunset Ridge Park is one of the popular local spots. Show up during open play, tell someone you're new, and you'll almost always get pulled into a friendly game.
