Love the basketball court and tennis court here at Shamrock Park! Also a great place to walk, jog or ride bike along the trails. Overlooks the water just across Caspersen Beach as well. It’s a vibe and a quiet hidden gem to enjoy the outdoors and get out of the house. Great place to walk your dog too!

The Legacy Bike Trail from Shamrock Park, north along the waterway past the train depot in Venice, past Nokomis and the scrubbing scrubby flatwoods (pinetree forest), may is definitely on the top 10 of the best ebike paths in Florida. We went 10 miles each way, and thoroughly enjoyed the various scenery an a beautiful New Year's weekend day.

Awesome playground for all ages. Shaded and there’s a lot of parking and a nature centre. Great spot. Swings, slides, all the fun stuff!

Great time with two 7yr old boys. Fantastic covered playground. The benches for mom and dad were nicely reclined. The nature center was closed (Juneteenth) and the walking trail wasn't shaded, but we saw so many critters along our walk that we barely noticed. Four gopher tortoises, two iguanas, and some fuzzy caterpillars to keep everyone engaged and having a good time.
