Eddy Nguyen, REALTOR· 4 months agoFort Family Regional Park is one of the nicest parks for sports and outdoor activities. We loved exploring the new 1-mile trail that loops beautifully around the park and pond. The added boardwalk along the pond adds a peaceful spot for strolls, jogging, or simply relaxing by the water. On the weekends, the park stays lively with families, games, and community activity, giving it great energy. If you’re looking for a Jacksonville park with trails, sports fields, and scenic views, we highly recommend checking this one out.
Pamela Howell· 2 weeks agoGreat place to get healthy. Simple 1 mile route over water and around the perimeter. (Of the land, not the water) Increase one lap at a time. 😘. Perfect. Playground pretty fine looking from a distance. Didn't need restrooms so no opinion. Beautifully groomed park and accessible. Started raining shortly after we got there. If we go again, I'll update.
Robert Vasquez· 4 months agoThis is a great park. Very safe, well kept. (Some trash on fields) they have two baseball fields at least, 2 soccer feilds/football, many picketball/tennis courts, and a nice walkway. They even have a walkway over a lake!
Anna· a month agoOverall, it’s a nice park to visit with kids, dogs, or even by yourself. There are plenty of activities available, including soccer, baseball, tennis, paddle tennis, lacrosse, flag football, a fishing pier, and a kids’ playground. There’s also a walking path around the park, which is great for a relaxing stroll or exercise. One thing to be aware of — there is an alligator in the water near the pier, but I didn’t notice any warning signs posted. I also wish the baseball fields were still open to the public, as they’ve recently started locking them. They were a great space for kids to run around or play ball, and I don’t think casual use would really damage the turf. Another improvement would be adding more parking spaces, as parking can become very limited, especially when games are scheduled on multiple fields at the same time. Overall, it’s still a great community park with a lot to offer.
Hector Rodriguez· 4 years agoThe Park in general is really nice because has playground, Lake, Soccer Field, Basketball court, Tennis Courts, Restrooms, but the only big problem is that they missing a resposable maintenance that's the park needs and clean the Restroom more often. In general is really nice park to go with yours kids and spend some times with them.

Jacksonville has a strong beginner-to-intermediate pickleball scene, and Fort Family Park is one of the popular local spots. Show up during open play, tell someone you're new, and you'll almost always get pulled into a friendly game.
