Jason Simon· 9 months agoI recently visited Lake Felter Park with my son and was very impressed. The park is clean, well-maintained, and the equipment looks fairly new that gives a great first impression. The playground area is tidy and inviting. One standout feature is the circular “merry-go-round” device: kids can sit inside and push themselves around, and here’s what really touched me there are two spots designed for children in wheelchairs so they can roll in and enjoy the ride just like everyone else. There’s also convenient handicapped parking right up front. It’s truly thoughtful of the county to include such inclusive and accessible features for all children. Beyond the playground, you’ll find a basketball court, tennis courts, a baseball field, and a soccer field plenty of room for everyone to play and enjoy the outdoors. The park also includes restrooms, shaded seating areas, and open green space for families to relax or picnic. Located at 1750 Johns Lake Road in Clermont, Florida, this park sits right beside Lost Lake Elementary School and is easy to find using Google Maps. In 2025, the city dedicated a brand-new inclusive playground named “Lili’s Place”, built to ensure that children of all abilities can play together safely and comfortably. Overall, Lake Felter Park is a true gem in the Clermont community clean, accessible, family-friendly, and designed with everyone in mind. A big thank-you to the city and county for creating such a thoughtful space that welcomes all families. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike!
Lindsey Nicole· 4 months agoGreat area with playground area and tennis and basketball courts, perfect for meet up, play dates.
Corey Nugent· a year agoGreat place to play basketball if you don't mind the double rims. They updated one side of the courts, and I'm digging the blue color! *Edit* Since these pictures have had so many views , I am going to add some more with a plea to all the locals and their parents / family. Please speak to your children about throwing out gum, candy, drinks, and bags out in the provided trash can that is literally on the courts... This side was just newly refurbished, and it already looks disgusting. This is a community park. Let's act like it and keep it clean for everyone to enjoy.
Christopher Young· 6 months agoEvery time I come to Clermont to visit family I try to make it to the park to put some shots up on the 🏀 courts.
Ricardo Rolon· a year agoCame here to play some basketball with my son. Plenty if parking and there are restrooms nearby. Clean and well kept area.
