John Carson· 5 months agoGrandparents lived here for 30 years. Golf course is nice and renovations have been nice but service and maintenance have been declining for the past 15 years or so. Sprinklers near the houses have sulfer or something with a similar smell. YOU DONT NEED TO WASTE THE MONEY ON ANOTHER CLUBHOUSE RENOVATION!!! ITS GREAT ALREADY. SPEND THE MONEY WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE SPENT. GET RID OF THE ROTEN EGG SMELL, GET A WORKING TELEPHONY SYSTEM AND STOP ALLOWING THE 80 YEAR OLD LADY AT THE FRONT DESK TO TURN IT OFF TO ROUTE CALLS MANUALLY! Businesses need working phone especially if your main members retired before smart phones were invented. For the younger members, maybe adding a page to the website for requests to bypass the phone system... it's not hard, your just not trying!
Anne Katz· 10 months agoAlthough this was an eye opener and I am grateful that it occurred. I fully take responsibility for not researching the place I was sending my son to and realizing that it was not a good fit. I also hold my son accountable for his behaviors. With all of this in mind, for any parent who is looking for a lived experience.. I have compiled a list of constructive feedback to consider if you are looking into this clinic: 1. Coach Dave did not know how to make the two hour lesson FUN for all children. A one size fit all approach does not suit everyone. 2 Most children are Not going to be the next tennis pros. 3. Dave if a child is not doing what your “Expectations” are. Make sure the consequences are not severe in nature. (Having them run multiple Times in humidity and heat is adverse) and serves no purpose other than being punitive. Making the child NOT want to participate. 4. Having an appropriate consequences are always important to built grit and respect. Respect DOES NOT come with authoritarian Measures. 5. Being punitive the way that Dave was- not listening not doing what he said- running in heat is not okay. This is only Punitive because it was HOT! Dave, as an adult who is charged with mentoring young minds you should be able to come up with other means 6. Dave- you should never embarrass a child in front of other people meaning ADULTS. You pull the child aside. It’s okay to model what is acceptable In front of children but they should be used as a teachable moment. 4. Lastly Pull the parent aside to talk with them about a child’s “inappropriate behavior” not in front of other people especially the child. Or to tell them your Beliefs that tennis is not for their child. If you could not express what happened at the moment, ask for the parent’s phone number. Lastly, coach Dave B is one of the MOSt unprofessional tennis instructors that I have ever come in contact with. I had no interactions with any of the other coaches why I am Specifically addressing his conduct. He should not be working with children. I did speak with a manager who honestly seemed more concerned with the facilities “reputation than it was about the welfare of a young person.
Andrey Markov· 5 months agoGreat tennis center and courts.
Arjun Kaul· 6 years agoVoted best tennis facility in Sarasota. Can't say I disagree. Great courts, didn't play the golf course. Really beautiful, high-end community.
Leif Erik· a year agoHighly Recommend! Great golf course! Great dining experience! Fast service!
