Worth going ! So much to do and play with for kids. My 2 and 5 year old could’ve stayed all day here. Very well kept and lots of other families and kids to play with.

This multi-use park has something for everyone. From a distance it looks like a circus! Little kids have a blast on the playground where they can be the ringleader of the Big Top! There's a little Snack Shack that sells drinks that has some basic hours. A nice skatepark and a beautifully cared for disc golf course wraps around a lovely Pond filled with monstrous and exotic reptiles of every shape and size.

We began coming to Payne park in 2022 and it was a beautiful park. Since then it seems to have fallen in disrepair. Caution tape seems to be everywhere: on the slides, on the sprinklers, and certain parts that need to be replaced (see photo). Someone needs to take the time to repair and remove the tape and put a little TLC into it again.

This half mile loop on an unpaved path is excellent for runners because the trees provide shade and there are restrooms and a snack shop right there. I like running on this path also because there are beautiful whistling ducks and snowy ibises to look at. It’s a great place to bring kids and we take our grandies to the playground. It safe and a lovely well maintained setting.
