Becky Graham· a month agoFirst visit to Hawks Cay Resort this past weekend was amazing! From the moment we drove to the resort and walked through the property everything was beautiful! The staff opened the doors for us and greeted us with welcomed smiles. The rooms are spacious, shower is incredible and definitely enjoy the robes after a long day in the sun. The outdoor area is beautifully landscaped with a salt water lagoon and the 2 pools, there are a lot of fun activities too. Most importantly is the backdrop of the Florida Keys where the blue green ocean waters kiss the Keyzie blue sky and you witness the most spectacular sunsets and sunrises. All this and more make this a place you absolutely want to stay with someone you love, it's great for couples, families, solo trips, girls getaway, guys trip. This will be my new "home away from home"!! Becky- Daytona Beach
Amzero· a month agoWe stayed at at townhouse/vila the kitchen in general was HEAVILY worn, sliding glass door must have been OG was so old and nasty, the paint thru out the house was is poor condition needed a repaint BAD. shower door would not close it was the wrong size, The WIFI is pretty much unusable I had several friends staying in rooms and other vilas all said the same thing WIFI was just total garbage. In todays times having good WIFI is a must have. The In general the place was not worth the premium you pay. The common areas were fairly nice pools and outside bars. We had a issue with housekeeping we had called the day prior to schedule a cleaning but nobody showed up at the time we wanted it. We called a total of 6 times thru out the day to get it done and all they kept saying yes your in the system they will be there. I even talked to a manger at 9PM asking where house keeping was and they said they were gone for the day. I find that odd a resort like this and the money you spend to stay here and they dont keep housekeeping on property 24/7 is very poor CS. The manager said i can give you sheets for the bed but i have no one to take them to you again crazy bad CS. Eating on the property be ready to spend money and wait a long time for your food 50 dollars a plate before drinks BUT we expected that. Went off property all but 1 night local places much more down to earth with prices. The Marina is expensive also 60 dollars to use the boat ramp each way. Slips are way overpriced also. And fuel was off the charts expensive I get it you have to make enough to runs the equipment and keep it all up but their is a limit and they were well above that. I went elsewhere for fuel.
Stephanie&William Sans· a month agoVisited here for a work conference. Overall the resort is ok. Extremely overpriced, breakfast sandwiches and coffee at the café in the main lobby. For example, for a regular breakfast sandwich and a coffee over $20 for one person. The service between the main lobby café and pool varied by day. The café had major delays, although it was early in the morning. The pool food was not terrible. I feel like for what they’re charging nightly for this hotel/resort service should be much better than what it actually is; overall, the hotel seems to not be upkept. I went on a Sunday to Thursday and they held over $200 a night for a hold. Everything is pretty spread out in the hotel so if it’s raining one of the days, it will become difficult to move around anywhere to different parts of the resort. I was in the room by the elevator and every night there was many bugs by the elevator door. The carpet in the hallway was dirty with crumbs and garbage the entire stay. Several of our pillows were stained and so was the bedding.
Jim Martin· a month ago⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just wrapped up another incredible stay at Hawks Cay Resort on Duck Key for the Grouper Season Opener event, and I can honestly say this year was absolutely phenomenal. Huge credit to Simon for putting this event together for the second year in a row — and somehow making it even bigger and better than last year. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. Simon went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an amazing experience, and it truly showed in every detail of the event. The entertainment was extraordinary, the atmosphere was electric, and the entire weekend was first class from start to finish. The marina looked fantastic as well — all of the upgrades appear to be completed, everything was fully functional, and the entire property felt polished and dialed in. We stayed a few extra days at the resort and absolutely loved it. The pool and hot tub were perfect, and the oceanfront views are simply breathtaking. Sitting there looking out over the Atlantic felt like staring at a painting. You truly could not ask for a more beautiful setting. Hawks Cay continues to impress, and Simon’s leadership and hospitality made this event unforgettable. Already looking forward to next year!
Kathy Varzino· a month agoSo this resort was completely restored and renovated after multiple hurricanes and yet it still shines on. Our room was upgraded to a junior sweet for our Anniversary and the views were spectacular! However, the "suite" was very outdated and the artwork was so bizarre?! We made it work and were hardly ever in our room but I expected a little bit nicer to be considered a "suite" and the LOUDEST AIR CONDITIONER in history. We could barely sleep. It sounded like a jet airplane and even though it was loud it worked and kept our room very comfortable. We were on the fourth floor and the most gorgeous views ever. We overlooked the Serenity pool (adults ONLY) which is a plus. They also have a lagoon pool and a large accomodation for children in the main pool. Now, the most important thing, the staff, very nice and polite. Opening your doors, always wanting to please. We met the most wonderful staff member named Emily who gave us the best service we have ever experienced at this resort. We will never forget meeting her as she is the most welcoming, personable professional staff member and so much fun! Spreading sunshine wherever she is, how lucky Hawks Cay is to have found such a lovely person to represent and serve the bar areas. I noticed that she was interacting with her coworkers and guests and always smiling. Can't say enough about this Resort, even though it has changed over the years, the hospitality is the finest and isn't that what every resort should be like? If you're looking for the perfect place, come to the fishing capital of the world and you won't be disappointed.
