Molly Wnuk· a month agoCourts are clean and area is beautiful but staff is extremely rude to members. As new members we weren't sure how/where to play. A rude employee came up to us and offered no help in reserving or finding a court, she only yelled at us to get off the court. She then followed us to our actual court and asked multiple times if we reserved a court. WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!! They need better employee etiquette!!!
Positively Living· 6 years agoTook a lesson while on vacation. Instructor was great, but I feel like I didn't get my moneys worth. We stopped before time to pick up balls and started a little later than scheduled time. The reason for the 3 stars.
Jennifer Arcuri· a year agoWe booked the courts to play, one of the biggest reasons we came to the Sandestin resort, but the only times available were during midday at the suns highest peak. Don’t act like we can play any time and give us such a small window for guests. There was also no instructors onsite so their whole pitch of “book of an instructor during your stay” was complete nonsense. My husband took his shirt off since it was so hot out, and we are on holiday. All was fun until the clubs minion Benjamin comes out and bark at him across the courts because “there’s a dress code”. He was anything but professional with zero discretion. Who yells at the guests for not having a shirt on? We understand and respect the code but there no signs. So we didn’t know?! Later when my husband came in to say “I don’t like the way I was treated”, Benjamin was combative argumentative and extremely defensive. We couldn’t understand why he thought to respond in such a way. Not a good look at all. Benjamin ruined this experience for us. He’s unfit to work at a resort with such a disdainful attitude. This is a RESORT and people coming are spending money for fun on HOLIDAY. Besides, spare us the Pretention of your tennis club in such a trashy resort. The place smells like weed everywhere you go but the tennis courts want to lecture you on dress codes?! OH PLEASSEEE!! It was an awful experience and we won’t be back.
Alex Barnes· 10 months agoTo the Staff of the San Destin Tennis Center, Todd, Lynn, Kevin and staff I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding hospitality and professionalism consistently shown at the San Destin Tennis Center. From the moment I arrive, Im always welcomed with warmth, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to making every experience enjoyable. The facilities are beautifully maintained, creating an inviting atmosphere that inspires both learning and play. Yet, what truly sets your center apart is the staff. Each of you brings not only skill and expertise but also patience, kindness, and encouragement. Whether it’s offering helpful instruction, ensuring everything runs smoothly, or simply greeting guests with a smile, your dedication makes the center feel like a second home. It is clear that you all take pride in what you do, and that pride shines through in the positive environment you create for players of every level. I am deeply grateful for the time, energy, and care that you put into making the San Destin Tennis Center a place where people can grow, connect, and truly enjoy the game. Thank you again for your exceptional service and for always going above and beyond. I look forward to many more visits and continued memories on your courts. Ive been coming for 5 years and always invite others! With sincere appreciation, Robert Godhigh (Pete Snyder Tennis Group) --- Would you like me to make this more formal (for management-level recognition) or casual (like a friendly note for the staff bulletin board)?
Jackie Warren· a year agoOur son has made amazing progress over the past year and a half working with Coach Jim at the Sandestin Tennis Center. Jim is tough but fair, pushing Jackson to improve while helping him stay focused and driven. His coaching style has helped Jackson build confidence and refine his skills, and we’ve seen such a difference in his game. We’re grateful for Coach Jim’s dedication and highly recommend him!
