Clean, family oriented, and lots of activities. Compared to the city, there is vast amounts of land, free parking space included. They host tons of events I've had the pleasure of going to amd security is always a priority, staff work extremelywell, are accommodating and more. The restrooms are clean both the main building and outdoor use. The playgrounds are well furnished with options of kids, with nearby space to play sports or run around. Community involvement is big here, and inside the main building, you can find a wall full of flyers telling you about all the events, activities, and extracurriculars. They host the MSD memorial each year, and it's truly beautiful and breathtaking. During the elections, they had a live performer playing the national anthem and other musical performances for those waiting and volunteering. Overall, it is a community oriented location.

P-Rec should be loudly announced by the city of Parkland. It is a wonderful amenity for the kids. The city does hold events at Pine Trails Park often, due to the size and hold an occasional event at P-Rec. it should be advertised that there is dance, chess, basketball, pickle ball, volleyball and mommy & me classes here (among other things). There are also meeting rooms for local organizations (think sports) to use upon request.

Horrible experience with Parkland Kids Camp. I tried to drop my daughter off at camp Monday and Tuesday and was told she was not on the list for this week and they have no record of her despite her attending previous weeks, providing receipts and correspondence with staff. I had to bring my daughter with me to a very important doctor’s appointment, and then had to reschedule the appointment because children were not allowed. When the P Rec directors, Christine Garcia and Corynna Keen, called me, they informed me that they found her on the list, claimed that I was never turned away and I will not be receiving a refund or credit for the days that we were turned away, unless I could provide witnesses and the security footage. I did, and Christine Garcia still won’t refund me. I have two friends that also pulled their children out for having such a negative experience as well and are currently fighting with their own CC companies. I disputed the charge and filed a police report. Absolutely disgusted. Edit: One of my daughter’s friends was punched in the face by a boy yesterday. Her parents were told that the boy received a written warning. They have had multiple issues this summer with the camp as well, especially regarding safety, and this was the last straw for them. Daniel Riel and Christine Garcia won’t give them a refund either. This is absolutely unacceptable and unsatisfactory for Parkland.

Facility is absolutely fantastic with great management and wonderful programs year-round. Aftercare program is stellar, offering much more value and quality than anything the local schools can offer. Ryan, the manager of many programs, is absolutely outstanding. My only concern/complaint would be that it’s a very hard to get anyone on the phone

Great place and teachers. We are very happy with the fencing classes so far.
