Solid skatepark just be careful as the scooter kids are in full force here. Had no issues and the concrete base is super smooth.

We are visiting from out of town and was recommended to visit this park by a local Big Pine resident. This park is operated through Monroe County. It’s quite a large park facility with a lot of open space for kids and pets to roam. Dogs are allowed, but must remain on a leash. There are dog waste stations, providing doggie waste bags so be sure to clean up after your pet. Other amenities include a shaded playground, walking track, water front pavilions, dock with site seeing binoculars and a bench, a vending machine, basketball and tennis courts, fitness stations, skate park, bicycle racks, baseball field and a concession stand that is open during sporting events. The playground is a sanded area so feel free to bring beach toys. There is also restroom facilities, plenty of parking and this park is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend visiting this park. It’s very clean, well maintained and lots of space for the our pets and children to explore!

Easy to find, easy parking! A playground for kids, a trail to jog or walk around. A water fountain exists for you so far away from where the playground bathrooms are. I guess the water fountain would be helpful as you are walking the trail. There is not much shade. There's an area for kids to skateboard and play basketball. It looks like perhaps some construction was going on, as there was a fence. Definitely bring bug spray! The noseeums were biting gnats were terrible! Pretty view but you're not able to actually access the water.

Pretty cool place for walking, exercising and nice views of the Bay. Plenty of parking - they even have exercise "stops" set up, for things like push ips, etc
