This is the massive Delray Beach Tennis Center that at one time, hosted tennis opens and I remember that it was at one point sponsored by the Citrix company. Massive nationwide tennis tournaments. On this Saturday morning, several of the courts were in use for private matches or for lessons. The folks in the pro shop didn't mind letting me in for a wander around and I enjoyed exploring. This is massive and designed for huge crowds though the parking might be a challenge. The folks I encountered were polite and helpful and welcoming. People seemed to be having a good time.

From a parent’s perspective, especially those who regularly wait during training sessions, the overall experience is positive. The courts are in good condition, practices are well organized, and kids enjoy being here. There are also places to sit while waiting, which is appreciated However, many parents mention the same issue while waiting-there is no option to grab a coffee or even a simple drink on site. Leaving the facility is inconvenient since you want to stay close to your child, and nearby coffee options are not within easy walking distance It would make a lot of sense to add at least a coffee vending machine or a small drink station. Many other tennis centers and sports facilities already have this, and it’s something parents really appreciate

The event was very well organized. Many top-10 players participated. Plenty of parking available for a fee, or free street parking if you’re willing to walk 3-4 city blocks. The food inside the venue is what you can expect at EVERY event these days: expensive and “fair”. The exhibitors and merchandise booths’ staff were all great, but the food vendors’ staff were MOST dry and unfriendly. It is what it is. The seating chart for the main court is well marked. I’d chose the South box to avoid in-your-face sun, or the West Box. If you can afford it (seats were NOT too expensive) there are also court-side loungers that looked very cool, but probably had some obstructed view.

Great venue for watching top American tennis players up close and personal. We attend every year. This year, we saw Paul, Tiafoe, Tien, Ruud, Korda, and Fritz. Hard to beat that. Parking was convenient and there was no significant traffic coming or going as long as you stay away from Atlantic Avenue
