We love this campground! It’s very family friendly, has a nice pool with lots of shade, plenty of activities, a sunset/fishing pier, new marina, and easy access to the water for paddling. Our kids love the soccer field and activity tables in the rec center, and we appreciated the addition of the dog park and the dog washing station!

We were so sad to say goodbye to one of our new favorite parks! We spent almost a month in the Keys and Sunshine Key was the last park we stayed at but definitely our favorite and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. We had the most perfect ocean front site (452) which was close to the fishing pier and had spectacular sunset views. Every interaction either of us had with employees was very positive and the people we interacted with truly made an effort to be friendly and helpful. I wish I knew names of the staff members that helped us to give them a special shout out but truly they were all so great. The area near the office has a nice pool, sport courts, food truck (good), and plenty of planned activities for guests of the resort. The only thing I’ll note is that some of the interior spaces were a little on the tight side for big rigs. Camp store/gas station (with diesel) right next to the property. Thanks for a very special week, Sunshine Key! Hope to see you next year!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Stay at Sunshine Key RV Resort & Marina Sunshine Key RV Resort & Marina is truly a gem in the Florida Keys. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by some of the friendliest staff we’ve ever encountered. The front office team is always cheerful, helpful, and genuinely happy to see you, and even the security team at the front gate greets you with a smile and a warm welcome. The interior roads are easy to navigate—even with a big rig—and the staff who guide you to your site make the arrival process completely stress-free. Our site was huge and had a beautiful view of the water, which made our stay even more special. One of the things we appreciated most was how peaceful it is at night. With the exception of just a couple of sites, the resort is quiet and wonderfully dark—perfect for stargazing. The night skies here are absolutely stunning. This is a very well-run, well-maintained resort in an incredible location. We enjoyed our stay so much that we already know we’ll be spending even more time here next winter. Highly recommended!

Sunshine is an excellent resort — we truly love coming here for the beautiful surroundings and the wonderful sunsets. It’s always a pleasure to visit. However, we’ve unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with the over-the-phone staff at the main office. We’ve made several calls to complete bookings, and while I want to clarify that not all staff members have been this way, one particular representative has been extremely rude. It’s truly a shame because it negatively impacts the overall guest experience and makes us hesitant to even call back. We hope this feedback is taken seriously, as the resort itself is such a lovely place.

We stayed here for the month in December 2025. 1. Wifi is not free 2. They don't pick up trash 3. Seaweed is not cleared off, and it smells like sewage 90% of the time. 4. For the amount you pay, electric should be included. 5. It is very remote if you want to do anything. 6. My truck was hit, causing $10,500 in damage while staff was bringing in another camper. I mean, isn't it the staffs job to get people pulled into their lot safely?
