Pat Voltapetti· a year agoIf you are a certain shade of melanin, do not come here. They are extremely racist. I’ll give you the instance that I dealt with, I drove from work to play some basketball for the 8-9:30 “Adult Full Court” session. Upon arrival, I was informed that the maximum amount of people that could be in the gym had been reached. I asked if a concession could be given to me and was given the response back from Cole, “ I can’t, I’m just following the rules.” This is completely understood and I was prepared to leave. However, I then witnessed two gentlemen come to the front and lobby that the adult full court should be changed to half court because they weren’t able to be there on Tuesday for the scheduled “half court” session. I then was shocked to see that it worked! I witnessed Cole and the assistant manager Isamar, provide concessions to these gentlemen and force the rest of the gym to play half court because different people asked. I then confronted them about bending rules for specific people, and not all, and was told to leave the gym or the cops would be called. In conclusion, stay away if you‘re black.
RS 12· 2 years agoThe facilities here are very nice, but I will say this year I see a change. Not sure if there is change in management or something but I'm a parent of one of the students that go to the school next door and this year they are being very stingy in terms of sharing their resources with the school, teachers, and students. It's a shame they are called a "community center" but they are truly not working to serve the whole community this year. Again, this is a new change for this year and I really hope they are able to figure out this situation out and share with the school like they used to or this problem will have to get escalated as it's hurting our community.
Yareneys Montes de Oca· a year agoI have been experienced the same issue and rude arguments from a woman who works at the front desk. Really out of control , the manager or supervisor should do something about it. I sent this same concern last year in the annual survey. , so far I didn't see any changes or better behavior.
Yoel Lorenzo· 4 months agoBasketball and soccer program for kids. Great atmosphere.
Karine K.· a year agoI strongly suggest to give a dictionary to look at the definition of COMMUNITY to the employee in the middle of the desk of the entrance. As a resident of Aventura this is a shame to be unwelcome and being talked the way this clown spoke to my son and I in front of maybe 4 or 5 others unnecessary scarecrows around. That being said, our taxes are going to those individuals is a scandal. This is completely unacceptable! What is this? Where is the manager!?
