This park looked beautiful when it was recently renovated. A significant investment was made in the remodeling, and it's located on a very accessible road. It has a basketball court, tennis court, playground, an outdoor gym with a variety of exercise machines, a children's play area, and a park for small dogs. It's a versatile and attractive park for these sports activities. At night, the lack of supervision is noticeable, the restrooms are dirty, and You have to be careful when walking or running on the path because people also ride bicycles and electric scooters there. It's a very nice park, but I think the grass, the restrooms, and the presence of attendants should be improved.

This park has been a staple in my life for a long time. I used to go here about 25+ years ago when it was all wood and metal. They completely redid this place. The floors are nice and soft, tons of fun things for kids that are really young can do and even the older ones. They also have a mini gym that’s really nice. Cool place.

Great park for tennis and Pickleball play. I go to Douglas for the pickleball with two courts, which is open play, with a wonderful group of people. The park does have a playground for the kiddies as well as 🏀 basketball courts, and a walking path, which I see Many use in the early morning. Overall, Douglas Park across from the Gables is a FUN visit. ENJOY!!

What a pleasant surprise! Traveling from out of state really showed me how much FL takes care of their parks. I wish we had nice, clean, and well maintained parks like these back where home is.
