The REC is an amazing facility that our kids absolutely love! The indoor playground is a huge hit—they could spend hours climbing, sliding, and exploring. The Pac-Man games are another favorite, adding a fun, nostalgic touch for kids and parents alike. It’s such a fantastic use of public resources, providing a safe, engaging space for families to enjoy together. We’re so grateful to have this awesome spot in our community!

This the best place for you to take your kids they are very good with kids. Every one is nice and friendly. My nephew loves to go and visit every day and we never have any issues whatsoever we recommend this center for every child no matter how old they are. Because they have games for all ages. Try it. You will love it

As a foster dad of three amazing brothers (ages 9, 12, and 14), I can’t say enough good things about the Port Orange Rec Center. It’s an absolutely fantastic and safe place for kids! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and there’s always something fun for the kids to do. The boys absolutely love it here — it’s become one of their favorite places to go. I’m truly grateful to have a community space like this where kids can laugh, play, and just be kids. Highly recommend it to any family in the area!

A renovated Rec with new gym floors is a great community resource for sports. As a senior adult I love playing pickle ball in air conditioning during the Florida hot summer. It is better than the Y.
