This visit surprised us. We loved it! The lady in the gift shop was so helpful and friendly. The guy at the base of the lighthouse taking tickets was very knowledgable about the area and the foliage! The wonderful hosts at the top of the lighthouse who knew the history and were excited to share and took pictures for us made for an enjoyable experience!

This was a great experience, only thing check the weather before you go. (Can’t go up if there’s lightning). But over all what amazing views, design, architecture and history. Definitely a must see place for all ages unless you’re scare of heights 😂. Cost is very affordable per person like $12. And veterans get a deal.

We had a great time visiting this landmark. We learned a lot and the view from the top is gorgeous. There are 149 steps, so it’s a nice little workout, and it was a warm day, but once we reached the top the breeze was awesome! The person at the top was full of historical information about the lighthouse. Worth the visit.

So as we came out to Jupiter Florida for Father’s Day weekend we had to make the stop to see the light house! It’s not free but well worth the price, General admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and veterans, and $6 for children aged 6-18. Children 5 and under are free, as are lighthouse members and active-duty US military with ID, There is so much to do especially if your interested in history, also the light house had about 105 steps to climb to reach the top, don’t worry there are half way points where you can stop and rest for a breather! My 2 little ones that are 11 & 8 didn’t end up making it to the top they did get scared of the stairs and the height! But the rest of the older ones did and they said it was so worth it, there are also restrooms close by to the light house I feel like this is a good key factor to know due to walking up those stairs you might wanna just take that stop before trying to start the stair climbing, there are so many amazing spots for pictures, there is also a gift shop and on the side of the gift shop don’t forget to stop by the museum! Bring a swim suit there is a spot where you can swim in the nice amazing clear water, while watching the boats go by! It’s so relaxing! We really enjoyed the tour of the light house! Just heads up there is no playground here also no dogs allowed! Heads up for dog owners!
