shannon stubbs· 9 months agoIt's a hidden gem full of venues for various sports. You wouldn't know it's back there. We used the outside roller hockey rink to practice and it was awesome.
Jaclyn· a year agoThe rink has so much potential. Unfortunately, baseball camps rent it out to use as a space to take breaks, and they trash it. I arrived at 9 am and was told they were renting it until 2 pm. The rink was clean at 9 am. The majority of the five hours they're renting it, it's sitting there completely empty, but they won't let you skate in it. I arrived a little after 2 pm to find the rink covered in trash and piles of dirt. Other reviews have said the same. They shouldn't be allowed to rent it if they can't respect the space. It would also be nice if there were a schedule posted somewhere so we know when it's been rented out.
shane hogan· 2 years agoLove this place, great for skating and playing hockey, the only drawback is that they will randomly have super aggressive baseball coaches just tell you that you can't skate some days. Kinda sucks when you show up to be confronted the moment you park with "you can't skate". At least post online or on a sign, the scheduled times when the rink is reserved so we don't waste a trip.
Chris Garcia· 2 years agoI love the rink they have their and have been going for a while now, but last week went for the first time since summer started with some friends and when we got their the rink was filthy with gum wrappers and fly from the baseball fields, apparently the rink is used for baseball camps, a little confusing. So we moved the chairs and skated and played some hockey till the coach came on and told us we couldn’t use the rink till 2:15… it was 11:20 when they told us that. A little frustrating since we drove from an hour out since that’s just the nicest outdoor rink. Wish they had a schedule online or calendar at the park to at least plan accordingly.
Just Me· 3 years agoThis place is not made for Florida heat. We were at the ball fields. No bleachers, no shade, no score boards being used, restrooms were quite a hike, and parking was a mess. They have a large parking lot in the back near a little lake but watch your littles, there are gators in the water. That's no surprise and no fault of the city. Just a heads up. They had a food giveaway of some sort when we were there and it limited except the very back. It was quite a rough 2 hours. P.s. the gator was just floating and not bothering a soul. Just watch the little ones.
