I'm a Pensacola native but this was my first time here. I went because Ebird listed a bunch of sightings of birds that I had not seen. This place definitely delivered for wildlife viewing/birdwatching. Tons of barn swallows, purple martin and eastern kingbirds. Bonus airport action too if you are into that kind of stuff. I cannot recommend this place enough and cannot wait to go back

Very cute little kids park. It has a weird kid powered steering wheel sounds maker that sounds like a : firetruck, space ship, train, boat, or car. The slides are really nice and all in the shade of some lovely trees. There are some picnic tables too. The only negatives about the place is there are no swings and a piece of equipment is gone. They put a sheet of plywood to cap off the ramp where the equipment is gone from. Hopefully one day they will put something there to replace it.

Aye you know the kiddie pool pumps may have been out but we all still had a blast. With the ease of access to lifejackets and plenty of lifeguards on duty there's plenty of fun to be had for the whole family.

I came to Roger Scott pool on 7/18 to the morning session that started at 8am. One of the lifeguards on duty acted like she didn’t want to do her job. It’s sad they have children start a swim test in 6ft of water just to use the slides but yet the slides drop down into 3 1/2 feet of water. She didn’t even give the kids clear directions on how to do a swim test when they have never done one considering they are from out of state. What bothers me the most is you have camp children here daily and I hate to see how those kids are being treated. We have been treated so horrible out here today. Then they just made my kids but on life jackets after they have been swimming for an hour. And I was advised I couldn’t get a refund (they don’t do refunds) I bet they don’t. Whatever you do don’t visit this pool and don’t trust the people who work there around your children.

They have nice tennis courts that seem to be kept up very well.
