Forestmeadows is an amazing city of tallahassee park in the northeast side of town off Meridian Rd. The tennis center is great with the clay and hard courts, I have played in USTA events which were great, well organized and really fun and watched professional tournament (Tallahassee Tennis Challenger). The hiking trails, especially Lake Overstreet Trail is great for running hiking and many single track mountain biking trails; the trail actually connects into Maclay Gardens State Park. I have done quite a few Gulf Winds Track Club running races and events there. The trail is pretty smooth, wide and best of all most people keep their dogs on lease which makes it much more comfortable. The staff are for the most part helpful and friendly; with parking usually accessible and available. The kids playground is pretty great for our kids because the equipment if nice and it's surrounded by big sweeping oak trees which help keep it cool in the summer. Thanks for such an awesome park.

I mostly come here to access the Lake Overstreet trail, which is great for walking, biking and running. It’s across the street. There are also several biking trails on either side and behind Forestmeadows. If you play tennis, the courts are good. There is also a pool and playground.

Very friendly place, great place to do all kinds of activities. Hiking, running and biking trails. You can even cross over to the Lake Overstreet trails (pay the fee). There is also swimming, tennis, weight training and some racket sports.
