This playground is off the beaten path. There is a gravel parking lot, a few scattered uncovered wooden picnic tables, a once-nice playground that poorly maintained and has some broken equipment. There are two brand new swings. While the picnic tables are an accessible style that allows people with their own chairs or wheelchair users to join in the fun, they are located on concrete platforms with no accessible path to them. There are pickleball courts here. While we visited, firefighters were having a pickleball match.

We are already planning our return trip! This is a fantastic group of upper-level pickleball players that meet early each morning around 8:00. Thank you Dennis and Ed for both making us feel welcomed.

Park is currently closed and under construction. It would be nice if Monroe County could update that so we could know before getting there and the kids being upset.
