Had breakfast from The Salty Bagel this morning and at the park by 7 AM and stayed an hour. We saw plenty of dolphins and pelicans feeding. The pelicans roost in the trees on the island in the evening.

Small community park on Banana River. No parking available. Thank you!

I grew up here. When we moved here in the late 50s there was an abandoned sewer plant on the site. My friend John and I drew up plans for the park that was published by the local newspaper. I fell out of the oak tree still there! it’s nice to see the city taking such good care of it now and the improvements made for water runoff (despite the problem they have with the tile roadway).

Beautiful park with a giant shade tree. It small but perfect to relax for a little while under the shade. There is also a dock incase you want to stop in by boat or watercraft.

Also known as Cove Park. Run by City of Cocoa Beach, as opposed to Brevard County. Some shade under Live Oaks (I think), picnic tables, a dock / short boardwalk, a fenced playground in full sun. Very nice view of some of the islands north of Minuteman Pkwy. Limited parking along the end of the street. No boat ramp or launch site for paddle-based vessels.
