A very cute park! I came just because of the name but it was a nice ‘pausing place’ where locals were happy to chat.

Awesome, small little park. Has plenty of basketball courts, a small fitness trail, and offers a great little stopping point if you are on a bikeride around the island. A place for the family, or simply to get some alone time. Was not busy. And had a bike rack and parking close to the area.

Me and my family actually went here on our way to the southernmost point. Our last name is Nelson so we thought that was funny.

Located on the north side of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Community Center is a great little park with covered picnic tables and a great children playgrounds. If you are looking for a place to relax go the the south side of the community center to Nelson English City Park which doesn’t have a playground and is a nice place to relax.
