I grew up by this park, and spent a few of my summers here as a kid at Summer Camp programs. My kids now play here and short of a few improvements not much has changed. The bathrooms are only opened during events, and the water fountains and soda machines are gone.

Yesterday, I was with my children around 3 PM, walking the dogs and my children when I heard a boy talking inside the women's restroom. When I tried to enter, they locked the door. I said I would call the police, and they opened the door. There were three teenagers and a boy using some kind of drug (or smoking marijuana, because the smell was unbearable). This park is a family park where children frequent. They need to install cameras because we pay high taxes and we need to be safe. Do not leave your children alone in this park; it is no longer safe. It's absolutely absurd that this family park is being used for drug and alcohol consumption, among other things. The authorities need to take action. Why are they so comfortable consuming drugs in a park near their homes???

Old Lakewood Park- Park 🤔 it's great, they have recently upgraded the playground, painted all the picnic tables and benches. Now have fitness equipment along the fitness trail! 😊 The playground is now on a padded rubber surface. Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts, Baseball Field.

Beautiful park with Big tennis courts, basketball court all fenced in. Baseball field and playground.

Sad the kids and some adults hang out and litter the grounds when there are trash bins, vandalized bathrooms so much they are only open when there are games on the ball field. It's a beautiful peaceful place otherwise 😌
