It's always a pleasure to go to this park with my dog. However, parking can be difficult at times as there aren't that many available spaces, and they are small. Clean facilities and well maintained trails. They even have a little playground for kids.

Larry Taylor Kiwanis Park is out-of-the-way in Port Charlotte, Florida. It has a 1 mile trail. Some trails are cement some are dirt and there are several wooden boardwalks. It was not too busy today. They have exercise equipment along the trails if you’re interested in working out outside. There are some water locations with bridges over them to view birds and fauna. The parking lot is paved. They have bike racks. Dogs are allowed on a leash. They have nice restrooms. Enjoy 😊

Absolutely love having this little gem of a park in walking distance. The trails are cool and covered. A beautiful big old pond and a few really cool little bridges. Perfect spot for a long walk or bike ride. Great playground for the kids too.

Nice wooded walking park and kids playground. The parking is on the playground side. You can bring your leashed dog. I didn't walk the whole trail but noticed there is some exercise items along the trail. There is a Lilly pad covered lake that I saw large turtles in, and it also has signs to beware as alligators may be present but I didn't encounter any. There is a gazebo and some other sitting areas as well as a grilling area.

This is a great park to walk your dog or have a picnic. Lots of wildlife to see in this little park. A small Playground, picnic areas and a workout trail system with various exercise machines. Leash dog friendly. Very well maintained trails.
