Such a kid friendly park with ample shade to extend the time you can spend there. Restroom and water facilities available. Clean and well kept

It was a picnic date night at the park. Pizza and bacon cheese fries from Great White. Park has a couple picnic tables under shade and plenty of parking. A nature trail, Frannies Preserve, starts here and has lots of wildlife and trails.

A well shaded, fenced off park with seperate play structures with slides for the very young (2-3) through about 10-11 years of age. There are also swings for various ages. Conveniently, there are water fountains and toilets just off the parking lot. Bike racks are located by the play area gate. There are a couple of picnic tables under a gazebo just outside the play area.

We adore this park. The perfect shady spot for non-beach fun! However, I’m truly curious. Has anyone ever found the pickle? Update: the pickle is there. After many times of searching. Maybe it got added back in recently? Any intel?

We were looking for something to wear the kids out and found this beautiful park. The playground was large and a lot of it was SHADED! We were so excited to see that the kids could run around and not be blistered by the strong sun. There was a large variety of things for them to do as well. We also walked a bit of the trail behind the park which was beautiful as well. They had plenty of parking and it wasn't very busy at 10am. They have bathrooms here as well (in case...you know...accidents) but we didn't have to use them.
