Rich D· 10 months agoWell maintained park. Recently many additions and improvements. Some really beautiful shade trees. The baseball field does flood out however when it rains significantly. Basketball, pickleball, tennis, a dog park, a baseball field, and an updated children's play area. And bathrooms too! A great little gem in East Hollywood
Aric Schuster· a month agoI haven't been able to visit the park yet, but, it seems to have a great casual atmosphere with a variety of recreational sports available for all ages to enjoy and relax with beautiful trees and landscaping, too! 😀👍🌴

Ariel W.· 2 years agoJefferson Park is a neighborhood recreational facility in Hollywood Lakes which is Hollywood, Florida's oldest neighborhood. It is known for its charming 1920's homes and pedestrian friendly environment. The park is bounded on all four sides by homes making it the focal point of the neighborhood. It is one of the green spaces Hollywood founder Joseph Young set aside for parks and open spaces. Young named 27 streets after U.S. presidents, from George Washington to Calvin Coolidge. This park is named after President Thomas Jefferson as it sits on Jefferson Street. Jefferson Park has a number of recreational amenities making it highly desirable to neighborhood residents. There are four lighted tennis courts, paddleball courts, two basketball courts, 2 bocce courts, restrooms, playground equipment, and a baseball/softball field. On the night I visited the park was filled with people enjoying every area. The tennis and basketball courts and the playground in particular were filled with people playing games and delighting in the great weather outdoors. This is exactly the kind of bucolic scene founder Joseph Young had the foresight to plan for and which makes Hollywood so family friendly.
Janina Kic· 2 months agoJefferson Park used to be a great local spot for casual tennis, but lately the courts are dominated by the same people giving lessons during peak hours. It’s tough to get a court after work, and arguments have become. It’s frustrating to wait in long lines while others ignore the rules and basic tennis etiquette.

Hollywood has a strong beginner-to-intermediate pickleball scene, and Jefferson Park is one of the popular local spots. Show up during open play, tell someone you're new, and you'll almost always get pulled into a friendly game.
