The Fort Myers Racquet Club is a local tennis gem residents can be proud of. The coaching staff is excellent , the facility is clean and the courts are well maintained. If you play tennis in Fort Myers, you must check this place out!

I called inquiring about the club and had a ton of questions, Audrey answered the phone and was the most kind patient and respect person I’ve ever dealt with at any club. 10/10 she deserves a raise and should be in charge of all customer interactions. You guys have a lovely gem representing your organization!

Do not sent your kid to group lessons...weak coach support, different levels kids set up to play together...this is waist of time here...

Feedback Regarding a Disappointing Experience at Fort Myers Racquet Club Dear Management, My name is Tiago Tavares, and I am a tennis player from Brazil with over 37 years of passion for the sport. Currently on vacation, I decided to visit the Fort Myers Racquet Club today, December 1st, at around 11:30 AM, as part of my exploration of the area. Upon arriving, I was greeted by an older lady at the entrance, who asked, "How can I help you?" I smiled and politely responded, "Good morning, I am just browsing and looking around." I then proceeded to the courts, where I noticed there were no players. While sending a voice message to my team in Brazil, the same lady approached me in an unexpectedly hostile manner, interrupting my phone call to aggressively question whether I was filming or taking pictures. Once I ended my call, I explained that I was simply visiting as a tourist, introducing myself as a tennis player from Brazil who wanted to share my experience with friends. Unfortunately, her behavior remained confrontational, making me feel deeply uncomfortable and unwelcome. Despite being dressed appropriately in an orange Lacoste Miami Open polo and tennis shorts, her demeanor felt discriminatory and accusatory, as though I was doing something wrong. I tried to reason with her, apologizing if I had unintentionally caused any misunderstanding, and pointed out that her treatment of visitors was unprofessional and hurtful. Her response was to slam the entrance door behind me as I left, leaving me embarrassed and upset. As someone who has traveled extensively and visited tennis clubs worldwide, I have never encountered such a disrespectful experience. Sports are meant to bring people together, fostering camaraderie and inclusivity—not to make visitors feel like criminals or unwelcome intruders. I hope this feedback encourages management to address this behavior and take steps to ensure that all guests, regardless of background, feel valued and respected. Thank you for taking the time to read this message. Sincerely, Tiago Tavares
