Tiffany Adams-Khumalo· 5 years agoWe were visiting this place from an Airbnb we booked. You have to purchase passes and whoever lives in the housing development can get them for you. The recreation center was amazing! We got in the Sauna and Walking Pool. Everything was clean and Everyone was so friendly. They have all sorts of cool activities. My mom loved it!
Agilis E. Noel· 7 years agoThe family and I drove down for a visit for about two weeks to visit my in-laws. During that time we used the pool (during times kids were allowed) and I used the gym facilities. All the staff were very friendly although I thought the constant sign in process was a bit excessive. It seems like they had people stealing services in the past, but at a dollar a day idk why you wouldn't just pay the fees. Keep your kids close, some of the elderly residents liked to see the kids and interacted with them, but there were some that were grumpy and complained about them being around.
Joy Coblentz· a year agoI “LIKE” living here, but I can’t say “I love” living here quite yet, because I haven’t gotten into the activities and the community center yet but once I do that, then maybe I’ll have a different sense of the community and maybe I’ll rate my stars higher that, well just have to wait & see.
Marta Alonso· 7 years agoVisited the community on a Saturday afternoon and took a tour around the pool, gym and activity buildings. The staff is very friendly but people that live there will not even blink when they see you, at this time of the year the snowbirds are there and place looks like a ghost town, imagine when they are gone. Houses are very old and over priced. Not the ideal place if you are active and like to socialize. Of you want a decent house better biy the land and build your home. Do not recommend it to happy, friendly, social persons. I very excited just by what you see on internet, but when we went in person to check the place, took the tour and looked at the houses for sale, what a disappointing experience. Should be a 70+ community instead of 55+. Only place worth it but houses are very expensive and HOA is way to high is the newer gated community.

Sun City Center has a strong beginner-to-intermediate pickleball scene, and Sun City Center Community Association is one of the popular local spots. Show up during open play, tell someone you're new, and you'll almost always get pulled into a friendly game.
