Larissa Farinazo Moura· 7 months agoMy family and I absolutely love the YMCA Bardmoor. The people here are incredibly nice, friendly, and polite , every visit feels like coming home. The group classes are amazing, especially the Zumba class, which is always fun, energetic, and led by great instructors. The Kids Zone is fantastic. My daughters have been going for a year, and I always feel confident leaving them in such a safe, reliable, and caring environment. The activities they do with the kids are wonderful, and the staff truly goes above and beyond. Since I don’t have family nearby, this YMCA has become a place where I feel welcomed and supported. It’s perfect for anyone looking for community , you can work out, take classes, and know your kids are well taken care of. I’ve lived in several states across the U.S., and this is by far the best YMCA I’ve ever been to. Bardmoor truly sets the standard. Highly recommend!
Chris Brunetto· 7 months agoThis is a smaller, but clean and and very comfortable location. The staff is fantastic and the management is really on their game. I work out in the gym here 4 days a week and my wife takes classes a couple of days as well. Working out here is so much better than the big gyms for so many reasons. Folks respect each other here and clean the machines after each use religiously. I have been coming here for over two years and will continue to enjoy my workouts here for years to come.
Mark Miller· 6 months agoI love this location and the YMCA as a whole. We have Silver Sneakers which is offered by some Medicare advantage programs and is free offering people a way to stay healthy and avoid being sick or helping control your weight. There are all kinds of programs offered you just need to ask the staff, they are so welcoming and always want to help. I wanted to give a shout out to Mary who helped my wife and I become acclimated with the equipment and programs, a true helpful person and asset to your YMCA.
Aye Jack· 5 months agoWe honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. From the moment we walk in, those smiling greetings at the front desk never fail to brighten our day. As parents, our biggest priority is knowing our son, Jack, is safe and happy. The Kid Zone has given us such incredible peace of mind. The kid zone director, Ms. Briana is truly amazing, and it’s been so special to watch Jack grow to love her. We are also endlessly grateful for the ladies - Ms. Rachel, Ms. Shelle, Ms. Que, Ms. Donna, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Kylie, and Ms. Hailey. They are all so kind, patient, and genuinely wonderful with the kids. And to the group fitness instructors , thank you for making the classes so fun and motivating! Lastly a huge thank-you to the leadership team for fostering such a positive, welcoming environment, and supportive community. We truly appreciate everything you all do.
Lynn Dierksen· 9 months agoVery nice, new facility. The equipment is new and excellent quality. Facilities are clean and we'll organized. I was a YMCA member visiting from out of town and the staff was friendly and helpful. It's back in a corporate park, so you do need to watch for the signs. Great place to work out. I saw but did not use dance rooms, cycle studios and basketball court.
