I love this park. I've been coming here for years after work when the hospital was Munroe Regional that I use to work at. Well, my female family member and I went this morning, and while resting and enjoying the park, we were sitting in our vehicle, and this 60-70 year old caucasian man walks through the grass, and comes straight to our back window on the driver's side, which was a foot of the way rolled down, he put his whole head in our vehicle and looked in our back seat and look toward the front as if he was looking for something. Now, we are 2 African American women. We don't even know this guy. He had no shirt on, was carrying a white thermos, and was breathing hard like he just jogged over there or walked fast. It startled me. I said, "What?!" and then he just walked away like that's just his normal thing to do. All of the years that I've been going there and nothing so weird ever happened to me before like that. So, ladies, if you plan to go to this park, just be cautious and take precautions. We rolled down our windows to enjoy the nice breeze, but just know that everybody there do not respect your space, but for the most part, they do. Most times, people there do respect each other's privacy, space, and are respectful toward each other. I still love this park though. It's a great place to exercise, relax, and enjoy nature.

Very nice park with lots of space and things to do. The dog park is the best I've seen in some time. I do wish you were allowed to ride bikes here though. Where are you supposed to ride bikes safely if not at the park? I dont want to dirt bike or do tricks. I just want to ride leisurely but you can't do that at Ocala parks.

Took my boys to the splash pad connected to Jervey Gant. $3 per kid $5 per adult they have 2 sessions a day. We went to the 2pm - 5pm session and it cost me $11 total. Well worth it on this hot day. I had a picnic table under an awning which was nice. Lots of lifeguards on duty. Great family fun.

Beautiful paved, winding, walking paths surrounded by nature. Safe. Away from noisy roads. Convenient parking. Bathrooms and water fountains. Many pleasant people walking and running on trails but not crowded. My favorite place to easily walk 3 miles or more.

My fav park in Ocala. Partly because I grew up going here, partly because it has a little something for everyone. The walking path is lo ng and windy and goes through so many different sections of the park. There are tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, basketball courts, a playground, a massive dog park (two actually), and a few ball fields and football fields for youth rec leagues. More of a hometown spot than a place to visit, but if you’re looking for a peaceful place to stroll, this is it.
