North Florida weather
Cooler than the peninsula. Winter mornings can start in the 40s and 50s, which most players consider a feature — you can play at noon in January without suffering. Summer is humid but the ocean keeps the coast a few degrees off inland highs.
Making a trip of it
Combine with Jacksonville forty minutes north or Ponte Vedra just up the coast for more court options. As a base for a long weekend, St. Augustine beats both on everything except pure court count.
