The Local Guide
Royal Palm Beach gives you what the coastal Palm Beach courts often can't — a place to park, a court that's free, and a rotation that isn't three deep before eight in the morning.

Best time to visit
November – April
The Wellington-to-Royal Palm corridor absorbed a lot of the overflow from the busier coastal complexes. You trade a little competition depth for a lot less waiting.
Solid 3.0 to 3.5 through most sessions, with stronger players cycling through on their way to or from the bigger West Palm and Palm Beach Gardens venues.
November through April is the busy stretch. Inland Palm Beach County runs a couple degrees hotter than the coast in summer, so morning play is the rule from May onward.
Frequently asked
Parking, waiting and cost. You give up a little competitive depth and you get courts you can actually get onto without arriving at dawn.
Mostly a solid 3.0 to 3.5, with stronger players passing through between the Gardens and West Palm complexes.
The public courts are, and they run standard drop-in rotation. No membership, no booking.
A couple of degrees warmer inland, and you lose the ocean breeze. From May onward, morning play is the only sensible option.
