Altamonte is where a lot of Orlando-area players actually play during the week. It is close enough to I-4 to be convenient, far enough from downtown that the courts are not a scrum, and the rotation has been running the same way long enough that nobody has to explain the rules to you.

Paddles on the rack, winners stay a game or two depending on how deep the line is. Mornings pull the retired crowd and the work-from-home crowd together, which makes for a wide skill mix and unusually patient partners.
Solid 3.0 to 4.0 with a handful of stronger players who show up midweek. Nobody is running drills at you, but you will get punished for lazy third shots.
Get there before nine from November through March. Summer flips everything to early morning and after seven, once the storms clear and the surface cools off.
